The Seiko Seiki SCU-300 is a dedicated turbomolecular pump control unit designed to operate and monitor the Seiko Seiki STP-300 series turbomolecular vacuum pumps used in semiconductor manufacturing, vacuum coating, analytical instrumentation, and research applications. The controller supplies power to the pump's high-speed brushless DC motor while managing acceleration, normal operation, fault detection, emergency shutdown, and battery-assisted rotor protection. Front-panel indicators display operating status including Normal Operation, Acceleration, Over Temperature, Battery Operation, Failure, and Emergency Operation, while START/STOP controls provide local pump operation. Your unit is configured for 110 VAC input, as indicated on the front panel. The attached cable appears to be the original pump interconnect cable. STP control units are designed to operate with their matching STP pump models and are not generally interchangeable with other turbomolecular pump manufacturers.
